New Postmodern Blues CD released

"Electric Vector" is second release by Brad's jazz-fusion band Postmodern Blues. Recorded over the last 3 years and mixed and mastered in 2011, the record features amazing great new compositions by Brad and PMB collaborator guitarist Scott Hedges. Like 2007's The Many Designs, the new CD featres amazing session performances by some of the DC areas best fusion players -- bassists Cheikh Ndoye and Josh Patani, drummers Daimiene Connor, Adrian Green, Solomon Ekwukoma; and saxophonists Kyle Whelan and Matt Rippetoe. Mixing nearly complete for second Postmodern Blues album

After long last, we are nearly finished mixing the next Postmodern Blues CD. The album is being mixed at Scott Hedges' Dragon's Lair Studio, and we hope to hire uber-mastering engineer Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound, NYC to polish off the new tracks, if enough old ladies' purses can be snatched to pay for it. Release is planned for summer 2011. Like The Many Designs, the album will feature tremendous fusion playing by the usual suspects--Cheikh, Adrian Green, Damiene Connor, Kyle Whelan, Matt Rippetoe, Joshu Patani and Solomon Ewukoma--but it will also sport some snappy vocal tracks as well, and a cover tune.
